This was a little bit of a dream project for me because I got to do the photography *and* the design. We did the photos out in Elgin on a warm spring afternoon and from there the design evolved as Geno finished recording, mixing and mastering this great record — and his first solo effort, From the Hip. And it just so happens the record release is tomorrow – and it’ll be BOTH of our birthdays. Details are:

Played a gig last saturday at the Pecan Street Brewery in Johnson City with Penny Ney (who set up the night), Jana — and very special guests, katie & heather. Making music with these ladies makes me very very happy.

In case you’re wondering, Johnson City during the holidays is all lit up and lovely — and next time i head that direction i’m going early so i can spend some time exploring this tiny texas town.
